IT Service Manager (Shanghai based)

My client is part of a growing and dynamic entrepreneurial team within a well-established company in Shanghai. This is a great opportunity to join a new business, combining the dynamic spirit of a startup backing up with a reputed organization.


  • Execute IT Service Operations strategy and framework; working closely with technology team and business partners to deliver outstanding service
  • Manage platform risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Monitor and ensure availability, and security of our applications and infrastructure
  • Take corrective actions to diagnose and resolve incidents
  • Organize technology team to contribute to the knowledge base on design, operations, and resolutions
  • Execute cloud oversight methodology in orchestration with Information Security, Compliance, Legal and Risk Management to ensure all cloud-related risks are within legal and regulatory constraints
  • Improve platform performance and prevent the problem reoccurrence (bug fix)


  • 10+ years’ experience as a senior position
  • Experienced in any cloud-related systems e.g. AWS, AliCloud, Azure Services
  • Track record in delivering high-complexity projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, or equivalent working experience
  • Analytical and structured the approach in analyzing and troubleshooting distributed architectures
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin
  • Understanding Insurance or the banking industry is a plus
